Once upon a time
Not very far away
Were born two babies
In different houses they say
Both were lovely
And for now let's say
That one was named Coy
And other was Ray
Coys family was glad
As a baby had come
Like one more of life goals
Was achieved and done
Ray's family was happy too
But it was because they knew
That on the buds of their life
His parents had seeked and longed..
For this precious droplet of dew
Thus with similar responses
These babies grew
The aura around them began painting
Blank pages of their lives so new!
In Ray's family his happiness mattered
Although it came with spills, chaos and mess
They let the child explore around
Without repeated use of "Dont do that" harness
Coys family was different
Here cleanliness mattered more
Playing ranked secondary
And first came house decor
Surely there were trying times
And when Ray got upset about something
The solution to his mood swing was
Just his parents time or cuddling
However in the other house
If Coys temper was not fine
Most sorted solution to cheer him
Was some uninterrupted screen time
Several such differences!
Their story goes on and on..
There truly is no single ending
Its sequels continue from dusk till dawn
So in a gist
What I intend to say
Is that children are purest of souls
On any given night or day
They surely come with chaos
With nights unyeilding or relentless screaming
These tiny tots definitely give
Level of our patience a whole new meaning
But the fun lies in knowing
That there's this tiny person thriving
Whose smile has the power of healing
And whose future is moulded
By our reactions and our behaving
Hence agreed that there are always
Chores to do and Bills to pay
But may we be able to raise
Less of Coy and more of Ray
